I’ve always wanted to do my own thing.
But I never felt ready.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had 100 business ideas.
I’ve always wanted to build something.
I just never felt confident enough to take the leap fully.
Clearing Up a Misconception
After my last post, a few people assumed I’d just moved to another company.
I haven’t.
I’ve taken the leap.
I’m fully committed to building something of my own.
The Corporate Experience
I learned an incredible amount during my corporate career.
And honestly, I needed those years in corporate – jumping straight into entrepreneurship right after varsity wouldn’t have been the right move for me.
The Turning Point
But over time, something shifted.
I reached a point where I felt like I had enough experience, enough insight, and enough confidence to finally take the leap.
The Golden Handcuffs
There was, of course, one other major obstacle.
The golden handcuffs were real.
Giving up a stable income is not easy.
I worried about uncertainty, financial risk, and whether I was making a huge mistake.
Conclusion
But one thought kept coming back to me.
If I don’t do this now, will I always wonder “what if”?
So here I am – fully committing to this journey, figuring things out, and already learning more than I ever expected.
